Profile · 15 years of practice

Turning communication into a lever for decisions.

Fifteen years across institutional communication, international cooperation and digital products. I started in media relations and project communication, then followed organisations wherever their needs moved: transmission, governance, digital.

Based in Rabat, I work across Morocco and internationally, in French, English and Arabic. A Master’s in Strategy and Project Management at ISCAE, currently under way, formalises this field practice.

Since 2023, my independent practice has combined advisory work, programme management, training, coaching, teaching and the development of Culturama.

Positioning

Design the strategy. Build the capability.

My work connects programme management with team learning: framing the action, tracking results, and building the skills that make it last.

01 · Organisations & programmes

Strategic communication, C4D and programme management.

I work on international cooperation programmes with a 360° approach, from internal and institutional communication to Communication for Development (C4D). Starting from an analysis of stakeholders, the communities concerned and how they actually get their information, I build the key messages, organise their rollout — print, digital, events and media — then manage and evaluate delivery. The aim: contribute to useful, measurable change, build buy-in, and anticipate communication and reputational risk.

02 · Teams & individuals

Transfer, support and the capacity to act.

I design and run learning pathways for executives and senior managers, for civil society teams and the people their programmes serve, and for students and young people entering the job market. From communication fundamentals to media training and the media treatment of social issues, I combine andragogy, active methods, coaching, soft skills and Work Readiness to build practical skills, professional behaviour and strategic judgement. The aim: equip each person to drive change, act on their own working environment, or take a decisive step in their career.

Career

From today’s advisory work back to the experiences that shaped it.

My career was built at the intersection of international cooperation, human rights, corporate strategy and culture. Across every context, one constant requirement: turning intentions into action that is managed, measurable and genuinely owned by the teams.

Pan-African strategy

Aligning an organisation around one regional narrative.

At Egis, the first Africa-wide communication strategy — “Impact on people” — connected positioning, content, technical expertise and coordination with headquarters.

International cooperation

Moving from communication to running the whole setup.

At Enabel, on an EU-funded programme, communication brought together donor visibility, access to information, institutional coordination, digitalisation and monitoring and evaluation.

120% of visibility targets met
  • Oversight of all communication activities
  • Monthly dashboard, field KPIs and EU reporting
  • Coordination of ministries, CSOs, universities, lawyers and regional teams
  • Legal information platform, campaigns and knowledge capitalisation

Rights & advocacy

Communicating on sensitive subjects without flattening reality.

At GADEM, editorial strategy, advocacy and campaigning made migration rights and policy understandable. Storytelling became a tool for information and for shifting how people see the issue.

  • “30,000 others” campaign and trans-Maghreb campaign
  • Press relations, spokesperson role and multi-partner coordination
  • “Vivre Ensemble” teaching toolkit, materials and advocacy kits
05

2012 — 2014

Culture & audience engagement

Making a project exist within its ecosystem.

At Dabateatr, communication becomes mediation: building a narrative, growing audiences, working with the media, and giving a cultural organisation a real place in its territory.

Learning by teaching

From design to teaching.

The early years connect creative production and teaching. They set a conviction that never left: an idea only creates value once it becomes readable, transferable and usable.

Positioning

Advise, manage, measure and hand over.

Communication is not a layer added on top of a project. It shapes how relevant it is, how well it is adopted, and how much impact it has.

I combine communication strategy, operational management, multi-stakeholder coordination and monitoring and evaluation. That continuity is what takes an ambition to a roadmap, and a roadmap to practices people actually use.

In a Communication for Development (C4D) logic, the point is not only to broadcast a message: it is to widen access to information, dialogue, participation and the power to act.

Fields of practice

End-to-end expertise.

From the initial diagnostic through to evaluation, with constant attention to ownership by teams and partners.

01

Communication strategy & C4D

Map the ecosystem, segment audiences, set objectives and build a communication-for-development strategy: messages, channels, governance, budget, timeline and indicators.

02

Project management & delivery

Turn a strategy into an operational roadmap, coordinate teams and suppliers, secure trade-offs and track deliverables, risks, resources and deadlines.

03

Monitoring, evaluation & impact

Define indicators that matter, consolidate field data, feed dashboards and donor reporting, then connect outputs, outcomes and lessons learned back into decisions.

04

Writing, content & storytelling

Write strategy notes, articles, success stories, press releases, newsletters and multichannel content; make legal, institutional or technical subjects readable without flattening them.

05

Training, andragogy & pedagogy

Design courses anchored in real professional situations: learning objectives, sequencing, active methods, role play, assessment and transfer into practice.

06

Facilitation & capacity building

Create the conditions for a useful dialogue between institutions, CSOs, universities, local authorities and partners, so that each actor takes ownership of the methods and gains autonomy.

How I work

From intention to impact.

A structured approach, adapted to the context and readable for every stakeholder.

01

Diagnose

Listen, map the stakeholders, analyse data, practices and needs.

02

Structure

Define objectives, audiences, theory of change, messages, governance, resources and KPIs.

03

Deliver

Manage teams, content, suppliers, channels, risks and trade-offs.

04

Measure & learn

Track outputs and outcomes, document the lessons and adjust the strategy.

05

Hand over

Train, facilitate and leave behind tools the team can pick up and run with.
