Expertise

Capabilities matched to your problem, not a service catalogue.

Public affairs, sensitive communication, capacity building and digital content. These four domains combine according to how mature the need is: sometimes a diagnosis is enough, sometimes the work runs through to delivery and team handover.

Fields

Do you recognise your situation?

Three worlds run through my experience. Each has its own actors, constraints and traps - and in each, assignments already delivered.

01

Migration & rights

Migration, rights and civil society

Your programme brings together ministries, NGOs, a donor and the communities concerned - and the message has to stay accurate for all of them. Enabel, GADEM, Soleterre: making the law accessible without watering it down, and holding the line on sensitive subjects.

See the Enabel assignment →
02

Culture & creative industries

Culture, creative industries and youth

Your cultural project has obvious value to you, less so to its audiences or its funders. Dabateatr, Culturama, TIBU Africa, Academie Ali Zaoua: building the narrative, growing audiences, and connecting creative work to a viable model.

03

Institutions & local government

Public action and major projects

Your teams, your partners and your headquarters do not tell the same story about the same project. GIZ-GOPA, Egis: aligning the organisation around a shared narrative and communicating on highly exposed infrastructure.

Disciplines

Whatever the field, four ways of working.

They combine according to how mature the need is. The training side is detailed on the Training page.

01

Public affairs and governance

A public decision is not imposed, it is explained and carried. I work on what actually drives acceptance: the clarity of the framing, the quality of stakeholder dialogue, and the ability of teams to hold the line over time.

You might bring me in if

  • A decision or reform has to be understood and accepted, not merely announced.
  • Elected officials or senior executives must carry an exposed public message.
  • A local authority is going digital and needs to bring its staff along.

What I can do

  • Public and institutional communication advisory
  • Training for elected officials and civil servants
  • Media training and public speaking preparation
  • Stakeholder consultation and dialogue
  • Support for local government digitalisation
  • Project governance design

Typical deliverables: Public communication strategy, key messages, consultation plan, training programme, media training package

02

Sensitive communication and complex programmes

Large programmes, international funding, exposed subjects: contexts where communication has to hold up in front of a donor, a headquarters, the press and the communities concerned, none of whom read the same project.

You might bring me in if

  • Your programme brings together ministries, donors, operators and beneficiaries, and one message has to work for all of them.
  • A sensitive subject exposes your organisation to public criticism.
  • A donor imposes visibility and accountability requirements your team has no time to translate.

What I can do

  • Communication strategy and message platform
  • Crisis and sensitive-issue communication
  • Donor visibility and accountability
  • Multi-stakeholder editorial coordination
  • Media and public relations
  • Project storytelling and expertise positioning

Typical deliverables: Strategy, roadmap, message platform, communication plan, editorial kit, talking points

03

Capacity building and advocacy

An organisation that depends on a consultant to speak for itself stays fragile. My aim is the opposite: to hand over methods, templates and reflexes that outlive the contract.

You might bring me in if

  • Your team must carry its own voice without permanent external support.
  • A diverse coalition needs to converge on a shared position.
  • A field struggle has to become a public argument people can hear.

What I can do

  • Communication capacity building
  • Advocacy strategy and public speaking
  • Community mobilisation
  • Facilitation and collective intelligence
  • Training of trainers
  • Social innovation workshops

Typical deliverables: Capacity-building programme, toolkit, workshop templates, advocacy plan, transferable documentation

04

Content, UX writing and digitalisation

A right nobody understands protects nobody. A platform where nothing can be found serves no one. This pillar is about shaping dense information so the people it targets actually use it.

You might bring me in if

  • Legal, technical or institutional content remains unreadable to the people it addresses.
  • Your platform exists, but nobody finds what they came for.
  • Data or procedures need to become practical tools.

What I can do

  • UX writing and information architecture
  • Content strategy and editorial guidelines
  • Plain-language work on legal and institutional content
  • Educational toolkits and resource packs
  • Web platform design and delivery
  • Support for team digitalisation

Typical deliverables: Product framing, site architecture, prototype, content, specifications, editorial system

Engagement formats

Four ways in, depending on how mature the need is.

Strategic framing

Reframe the problem, align the stakeholders and identify the decisions that come first. A few days to two weeks.

Diagnostic and roadmap

Assess content, tools and processes, then lay out a realistic sequence of work. Two to six weeks.

Advisory and delivery

Hold strategic direction, day-to-day management and actual production together in one hand.

Training and handover

Get the decisions made, document the method, and leave the team able to carry the work on.

Your context

Describe the context before choosing the format.
