Training delivered to representatives of eight municipalities.
Training and transformation
Digital communication for local authorities
Supporting eight municipalities in explaining their services and local revenue collection through digital content that is genuinely useful to residents.
Context and role
The assignment, beyond its job title.
A hands-on programme in which participants worked on their own audiences, messages, formats and constraints, so they left with content and action plans fitted to their own municipality.
The problem
What made this project demanding.
Participants had different digital skill levels, little time and very varied local realities. The training had to be immediately understandable, produce results during the sessions, and connect communication, service quality and public trust.
Intervention
The decisions and actions that shaped it.
An approach fitted to the context, the actors involved and the deliverables actually expected.
- 01
Adapt the teaching material to the realities of local authorities and to the participants’ levels.
- 02
Work on audiences, messages, formats and editorial calendars.
- 03
Have participants produce content and short action plans during the training itself.
- 04
Connect communication practice with explaining public services and local revenue.

What this project demonstrates
A capability tested against reality.
The ability to turn expertise into a hands-on learning programme, adapted to different levels and geared to outputs usable the moment the training ends.
